About CITRUS Practices
CITRUS Practices (opens in new tab) stands for Care, Intimacy, TRaUma-informed and Safer practices in the arts. They are a gathering of arts workers who first came together in 2020 who seek to infuse zest into enabling greater sustainability in the arts. By engaging with people and organisations – within and beyond the arts – CITRUS Practices connect and expand conversations around the structures and conditions of working in the arts today. Their shared horizon is for the arts to deeply care for, refresh and nourish both arts workers and audiences alike.

📆 27 Apr 2024, 11.00AM
📍 Arts Resource Hub @ 42 Waterloo Street
While running from project to project in your arts career, how do you find time and space for care? Rather than say “this is just how it is” or “that is how things have always been done“, where and how might we begin to work and live with less exhaustion and burnout? Is it really possible to ‘hustle’ with care in Singapore’s arts sector and creative economy?
At this community gathering, arts workers participating in CITRUS Fest will offer their imaginations and facilitate discussions of how we can concretely practice care through some small group activities.

📆 28 Dec 2023, 7.00PM
📍 Arts Resource Hub @ 42 Waterloo Street
In the past year, what is something you were focusing on as an arts worker? In 2024, what else do you want to concentrate on or work on? How/where does ‘care’ factor into your hopes for 2024?
Join us as we reflect on these questions and more at a social gathering with other arts SEPs and members of the CITRUS Practices community.
