About ARH IGNITE Mentorship
📆 5 August 2024 - 3 February 2025
📍 Arts Resource Hub @ 42 Waterloo Street
The exciting ARH IGNITE Mentorship is designed to provide training and support for new or early career (less than five years) arts SEPs. The programme is specifically designed to professionalise the diversity of approaches and help guide new/emerging arts SEPs as they make decisions on their independent practices and to grow their careers in the arts. It provides peer support in the five areas of keys skills needed for SEPs, including Portfolio Career and Project Management, Legal, Contract and Negotiation Management, Financial Management, Entrepreneurship and Personal Brand Management.
Through the six-monthly sessions, participants will engage with invited guest speakers and ten mentors from the fields of dance, music, theatre and visual arts.
The ARH IGNITE Mentorship is conceptualised by theatre director, arts educator and creative producer Jeffrey Tan and proudly presented by Arts Resource Hub.
Programme Outline
Two mentees will be paired with one mentor, to delve into key SEP skills and
competencies. The mentees will also get peer-to-peer support with their mentors between the monthly group sessions.
