CITRUS fest 2026: Kacang Puteh, Care-oke? is curated by CITRUS practices (opens in new tab) in collaboration with the Arts Resource Hub (ARH). Through the festival, independent arts practitioners can learn from one another, share resources, and access care practices essential for building sustainable creative careers.
From 21 to 30 August 2026 @ 42 Waterloo Street, the festival convenes more than 50 arts workers to explore care as a shared, everyday practice rather than a private burden.

Festival Highlights & Huddle Puddle Programmes
Across 20 programmes, CITRUS fest invites you to explore a range of topics, including the fruits of huddle puddle, where four groups have been piloting projects since April to address gaps in care practices within the arts.

CITRUS fest returns in August 2026 as a biennial festival of care by and for arts workers and the public! We begin preparations with a huddle, celebrating the 15th night of the lunar new year (chap goh mei, Hokkien), and breaking fast (buka puasa, Malay) together for Ramadan.

huddle puddle (Apr-Jun)
In huddle puddle, a new festival programme co-facilitated by dance artist & educator Faye Lim and somatic therapist & artist Teo Xiao Ting, CITRUS practices is seeking Singapore-based arts workers who notice gaps in the way things are done, believe that there are opportunities for us to do better, and can benefit from some support and resources to get started on research and pilot projects.
In this open call, our understanding of “care practices” refers to and includes sustained actions that can effect systemic and structural change for improving wellbeing and longevity in the arts workplace.
In total, there will be four pairs, of which one will be formed by CITRUS associates Chew Li Hong and Rayann Condy. As a sense of what is possible, their project focuses on building capacity and shared understanding around practices of intimacy direction and coordination within Singapore’s performing arts and media sectors. They will be conducting community mapping, research and dialogue with local practitioners and stakeholders.
